Tim Chaves
Tim Chaves serves as Bristol County Savings Bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. Tim joined the Bank in 2007 and has worked exclusively in commercial banking throughout his tenure, operating in various capacities across credit, lending and management.
In addition to his employment at the Bank, Tim also serves on the Board of Directors of the Taunton Development Corporation, Jobs for Fall River, Inc. and Coaching4Change.
He has previously been honored as a “40 Under Forty” recipient by the Providence Business News in 2022 and was selected as “Banker of the Year” in 2015 by the South Eastern Economic Development (SEED) Corporation.
Tim is a native of Taunton, Massachusetts and a graduate of Taunton High School. Tim is an alumnus of Boston University’s Questrom Business School where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Accounting and Finance. Tim is also a graduate (with honors) of the Massachusetts Bankers Association’s New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College as well as the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Tim currently resides in Westport (MA) with his wife Jennifer and daughters Olivia, Ava, and Isla.
